Anthony Gutierres, 65, of Honokaa died Jan. 3 at Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua. Born in Kohala, he was a custodian for Hawaii Preparatory Academy and U.S. Army veteran. Visitation 8:30-9:45 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 13) at Hawi Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass at 10 a.m. Urn burial at a later date. Casual attire. Survived by daughters, Selene C. Yukiko Kajiwara, 87, of Ewa Beach, Oahu, and formerly of Hilo, died Jan. 5. She was born in Papaikou. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Monday (Feb. 15) at Ballard Family Mortuary. Ralph H. Nabeta, 84, of Los Angeles and formerly of Hilo, died Jan. 19 in Los Angeles. Born in Hilo, he was a retired IBM employee and U.S. Army veteran. Services held.
